Pediatric Case Study
The practice opened in Jan of 2006 without MedCorp’s assistance. The
physician realized he was in trouble and MedCorp was brought on
board in September of 2006 to provide billing services. At that time
the average charges per month were $36,400 and the average patient
payments per month were $4,511. The average insurance payments per
month were $13,000 and the AR was $118,716 (3.26 x the average
monthly charges).
As of July of 2007 the average charges per month had improved to
$77,033.00 - a 200% increase and the average patient payments per
month to $7,535 - a 170% increase. The average insurance payments
per month had improved to $45,903 - an increase of 353% and the AR
at $118,088 is only 1.53 x the average monthly charges. The
physician is extremely satisfied with MedCorp’s performance and
would be glad to give a personal reference.
